Family Fun Day - 30th Birthday Party - 15th August 2012

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY TO US!! - Great Day at our Family Fun Day today, to celebrate the Olympics and our 30th Birthday of Sharp, over 150 children came along (dragging their parents/carers in tow) and took part in the 'Activity Challenge'... the Zoo was a great hit with e... everyone (the meerkats were magic!) and the hoola hoop challenge got very competitive! Street dance was megga fun, lots of crafts kept the kids engrossed and the cafe did a roaring trade in hot dogs and burgers. Lots of painted faces thanks to support from T mobile and thanks to other agencies (gentoo, age uk, nexus, alcohol service etc) for coming along to support. Prize winners are:

Art Competition: Overall Winner - Francis Corsham (won tickets to SAFC match). Runners up, Christine Kelsay, Ross Myers and Mr TH Vaulks (gift vouchers).

Guess the sweeties in the jar was won by Dale Carter

The Teddy was won by Grace Lomax who correctly named him as 'Tatty'.

The over all winner of the Activities and Quiz was Ellie Wright aged 7 and the runner up was Michael Richardson aged 8.

Dale Carter Guessed the number of sweets. Well done, don't eat them all at once!

Thanks to David Brennan for taking pictures of the day, we will update the website with pictures in the next week. Megga thanks to funders and volunteers who made today possible..... you know who you are!
