ShARP provides a range of training courses both accredited and non-accredited, see our ‘Online Calendar' for more details. New courses will also be advertised in advance in the Centre, on our website and on our facebook page.

If you have a desire to learn something new that isn’t being run at the centre, please get in touch with your suggestion, if there is enough interest, we may be able to run courses that are suggested by our customers.
We can also provide volunteer placements for people learning new skills in a variety of areas including reception and admin duties, financial management, marketing, catering and managing a social enterprise.

We will be providing luncheon clubs for older people and the cafe will also be avaibable for rent as a training venue for community groups.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ShARP exists to support local people. We are members of various groups locally, across the city of Sunderland and the North East, we aim to bring information of current events to local people and provide space for services to be delivered in the community.
